Aduhiya 2024: Bringing Joy to 5,000 Families Through Meat Distribution

Addis Ababa, June 17, 2024 – For the fifth consecutive year, Babul Keyer USA distributed Aduhiya meat to 5,000 beneficiaries and community members, ensuring that vulnerable families could celebrate Eid al-Adha with dignity and joy.

The annual tradition, supported by individual donors and partner organizations, brings together communities across faiths. For five years, this program has ensured that low-income households can share in the blessings of the holiday.

"Eid is about sharing and compassion," says Ahmed, a father of four who received meat through the program. "Without Babul Keyer USA, my children would not have tasted meat this Eid. The joy on their faces is something I will never forget."

The distribution is part of Babul Keyer USA's broader seasonal support initiatives, which also include daily IFTAR meals throughout Ramadan, Easter meat distribution for 2,000 non-Muslim families, and holiday clothing for thousands of children.
