Babul Keyer USA Now Employs 127 Permanent Staff, Strengthening Organizational Capacity

Addis Ababa, September 1, 2024 – Babul Keyer USA has reached a significant organizational milestone, now employing 127 permanent staff members in various positions across its growing operations. Monthly payroll tax is paid regularly to the government, demonstrating the organization's commitment to formal employment and tax compliance.

The growth from a small volunteer initiative in 2019 to an organization with over 120 employees reflects Babul Keyer USA's expanding impact and the trust placed in it by donors, partners, and the community.

"Each of our 127 staff members is dedicated to serving the poorest of the poor," explains Hanan Mahamud. "From our kitchen workers who prepare thousands of meals daily to our trainers who empower youth with skills, every staff member contributes to our mission.
